The Minister of National Defence, Nikos Dendias, met today Monday 29 January 2024, wth the Leader of SYRIZA – Progressive Alliance party, Stefanos Kasselakis, who visited the Ministry of National Defence.
Mr. Kasselakis, who was accompanied by the Head of the National Defence Sector of SYRIZA – PA, Honorary Chief/HNDGS and Admiral (ret.) Evaggelos Apostolakis, and the Director of his Political Office Manolis Kapnisakis, was briefed on matters of National Defence and the operational structure of the Armed Forces, at “Ioannis Kapodistrias” Hall.
The briefing was attended, on the side of the political leadership, by the Minister of National Defence, Nikos Dendias, the Deputy Minister of National Defence, Ioannis Kefalogiannis, and the General Secretary of the Ministry of National Defence, Antonios Oikonomou.
On the side of the military leadership, it was attended by the Chief/HNDGS General Dimitrios Houpis, the Chief/HAGS Lieutenant General Georgios Kostidis, the Chief/HNGS Vice Admiral Dimitrios-Eleftherios Kataras, and the Chief/HAFGS Lieutenant General Dimosthenis Grigoriadis.
The briefing was followed by a meeting of the Leader of SYRIZA – Progressive Alliance party with Mr. Dendias, at the Minister’s office.
